Erin Modruson
Harp Instructor
Erin Modruson is a recent graduate of Wheaton College where she majored in Music with elective studies in Business. Erin began her musical studies on piano at age six and added harp when she was eleven. She started her harp studies with Faye Seeman, who has been her primary harp teacher through her years at Wheaton College. As a participant at the Midwest Harp Festival, she also studied with Mary Bircher, Dr. Charles Lynch III, and Elizabeth Richter. At Wheaton College, she was lead harpist for the Harp Ensemble and principal harpist for the Symphony Orchestra. Erin enjoys collaborating with other musicians, particularly in chamber groups, and sharing her love of music with others through teaching. She enjoys playing works of music by Carlos Salzado, Bernard Andres, Marcel Grandjany, and Valeri Kikta. Besides playing harp, Erin loves spending time with her dog, running, playing piano, and learning about sustainability practices.
