John Hoheisel has been passionate about music since the age of four, when he first picked up the violin. By age seven, he had added piano to his musical studies, and he has spent years honing his skills on both instruments. Despite facing challenges with tendinitis during high school and college, John remained committed to his craft and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from Elmhurst University in 2021.
Following graduation, John began teaching violin, piano, and later voice at Allegro Music and Dance Academy in Lockport, IL. While he enjoys performing, his true passion lies in teaching. Over the past four years, he has worked with students ranging from young children to adults in their 50s and 60s, and he finds great fulfillment in helping each student grow musically and personally.
John currently serves as the Office Manager at Noteable Notes Music Academy and teaches both violin and piano. He is also actively pursuing his Ultimate Music Theory teaching certification and piano technician certification through the Piano Technicians Academy. Once certified, he will be qualified to teach group theory classes and offer professional piano tuning and repair services.
