Leah Stevens

Leah Stevens is Second Flute/Piccolo/Assistant Principal Flute with the Owensboro Symphony Orchestra. She has served as a Flute Fellow with the New World Symphony, principal flute with The Orchestra Now and has appeared with the Missouri Symphony, Civic Orchestra of Chicago, Quad Cities Symphony, South Bend Symphony, and the Lexington Philharmonic.


Leah was recently named a winner of the Artist Presentation Society Auditions in St. Louis, Missouri, and gave her recital debut in November 2021 focusing on flute music by female composers. She has also won First Prize in the Orchestral Audition and Masterclass and Second Prize in the Piccolo Orchestral Audition and Masterclass at the 2017 National Flute Association Convention.


Leah currently resides in Carol Stream, IL. When not performing, she spends her time on the south side of Chicago working for The People’s Music School, a non-profit organization that provides tuition-free music education for students in the city. She is available to book for both in-person and virtual lessons.
