Mijin Elsner
Piano Instructor

Mijin Elsner has been a piano teacher at Noteable Notes studio from 2004 to present. She has given private lessons to school age student to senior age group. She has over 20 years of teaching experience.
Milijin graduated from SookMyung University in Seoul, South Korea, where she received her B.A. in Piano. She studied with Dong Soon Park M.A. (Manhattan School of Music, NY); Young In Lee M.A. (Juliard School of Music, NY). In the U.S. she studied with Dr. Mary Nelson (PhD Houston University, TX) at University of Wisconsin-La Crosse; Nicolas Roth (Beethoven Competition winner) at Indiana University.
Currently she is a member of MTNA (Music Teachers National Association) and ISMTA. In addition, Mijin teaches in her private studio in West Chicago.
She is a piano accompanist for her home church (Hanmee Presbyterian Church in Itasca) since 2006, where she is also the director of handbell choir.
