Mijin Elsner
Piano Instructor

Mijin Elsner has been teaching piano at Noteable Notes Music Academy since 2004. She has given private lessons to students from elementary school and also adults. She has over 25 years of teaching experience and loves to see her students grow, improve, and fall in love with music.
Mijin graduated from SookMyung Women's University in Seoul, South Korea, where she received her B.A. in Piano. She has studied under Dong Soon Park, M.A. (Manhattan School of Music, NY) and Young In Lee, M.A. (The Juilliard School of Music, NY). In the U.S. she studied under Dr. Mary J Nelson, PhD (Houston University, TX) at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and Nicholas Roth (Beethoven Competition winner '95) at Indiana University.
Currently she is serving as the handbell choir director for her home church and has been a member of the Agape Ringers, Chicago's Premier Handbell Ensemble, since 2019.
