Olga Bojovic

Olga Bojovic (Lyric Soprano) is a dedicated and passionate voice instructor with more than twenty years of teaching experience. A classically trained professional opera singer, Olga brings a broad knowledge of repertoire and valuable insight to her students. She is committed to nurturing confident and healthy singers of all ages. Her teaching emphasizes bel canto vocal technique, proper posture, breath management, stabilized larynx, and even sound of the entire vocal range. Olga firmly believes in structuring an individualized teaching approach, as no two students are alike. She holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from Brooklyn College, Master of Music from UNL-Lincoln, and Certificate in Performance from DePaul University. She will forever be grateful to her own voice teachers, Cornelius Reid and Jane Bunnell. Olga is thrilled to join the staff of Noteable Notes.

“I am a better voice teacher because I actively perform. I believe in leading by example and truly practice what I teach my students. Since 2016 I have been a Soprano Section Leader and Soloist at Christ Church of Oak Brook. There I have sung solos in major choral-orchestral works, including Handel’s Messiah, Vivaldi’s Gloria and DuBois’ The Seven Last Words of Christ. I have performed with many local companies and orchestras, including leading roles with Savoyaires, Hyde Park’s Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Company, and solo engagements with Salt Creek Chamber Orchestra IL, Paderewski Symphony Orchestra, North Shore Chamber Orchestra, Oistrakh Symphony Orchestra of Chicago and West Suburban Symphony, as well as a Live Radio Performance at WFMT, Chicago in 2007.”
