Zakary Reynolds

Zakary Reynolds is a junior at the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music, pursuing a major in Piano Performance under the direction of distinguished performer and professor, Dr. Daniel Paul Horn. Growing up in the small town of Greencastle, PA, Zakary began his musical studies at age five at the Cumberland Valley School of Music with Susan Matson. Along with these studies, Zakary performed regularly, competing in local and state competitions as a soloist and collaborative pianist. In July of 2022, Zakary performed as a finalist in the Raymond Solo Piano Competition at the Masterworks Festival in South Carolina. In January of 2024, Zakary performed with the Wheaton College Symphony Orchestra as a finalist in the Wheaton College Concerto Competition and placed first, receiving the Ben Hepner Prize in Music. In addition to his solo career, Zakary is the accompanist and honors conductor for the Wheaton College Men’s Glee Club under the direction of Dr. Jerry Blackstone. Furthermore, Zakary performs regularly with the Wheaton College Percussion Ensemble as a guest pianist and percussionist. Zakary also serves as a pianist and organist at several churches, including Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Warrenville, IL.
